Blueberries, Bike Parks, and a Leak?! Adventures in Idaho
Our week in Idaho kicked off with something new for us—our very first Harvest Host stays. First up was a you-pick blueberry farm, followed by a farm-to-table stop that turned into one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Not a bad way to start things off.
The temperatures, however, weren’t quite as sweet. With highs in the 90s, the EarthRoamer made it clear that summer heat is not its favorite season. Still, we managed to squeeze in plenty of exploring around the Sandpoint area before heading south for more adventure.
The highlight? Two bike parks in one week—Brundage and Tamarack—both offering their own mix of flowy runs, lift rides, and just the right amount of adrenaline.
Not everything went smoothly, though. A heavy rainstorm brought on a pesky door leak (author’s note: we still haven’t figured out exactly where it’s coming from, and it only seems to happen during some storms). Luckily, we’ve got a service appointment lined up soon.
All in all, Idaho served up a little bit of everything—blueberries, bike parks, big heat, and a few surprises along the way.
