Laundry with a View: What a Typical Day Looks Like in the EarthRoamer
A day in our life in the EarthRoamer isn’t all that different from a day at home—we get up, get ready, take meetings, walk the dogs, do some laundry, and make dinner. It’s all the same human things, the daily rhythms that keep life on track.
But the biggest difference is that we get to do it all with our view of choice.
We’re not staring at the same laundry room walls or walking the same neighborhood loop with the same familiar spots our dogs always stop to sniff. The structure of our days might look typical, but the setting keeps changing—and that changes everything.
Some days it’s emails and Zoom calls, laundry and groceries. Other days, it’s mountain biking, hiking to a waterfall, or sitting with our feet in a stream while Nia swims and chews sticks. We've found a new kind of routine, one where wildflower fields, riverside towns, and forested trails are just part of the backdrop.
We’ve joked more than once that Nia might never be happy living in a house again now that she knows the excitement of life on the road. Secretly, we wonder the same thing.
Now that we know we can do laundry with a view of an alpine meadow, will we ever want to go back to a (granted, more efficient) household laundry room?
